[Neultimate] Tryouts: New England Open YCC team

Hi All-

Please see the announcement below regarding this year's New England Open
Youth Club Championships (YCC) team.

Players from the NEPSUL league have a number of options for possibly
attending the tournament; this open division team run by BUDA, a mixed
division team run by BUDA, and a mixed division team run by NEPSUL.  If you
are interested in the open team please follow the application process
outlined below.

Attention New England high school players;


Once again, New England has secured a bid to the open division of the
UPA Youth Club Championships (YCC) to be held August 11 & 12 at the
National Sports Center in Blaine, Minnesota.

We are beginning the process of holding tryouts for the team and are
encouraging any and all players from New England to be part of the
selection process.

All players on the team must meet the following requirements:

*Are going to be 18 or under on June 1, 2007
*Have played for a high school team in New England during one of the
past two seasons (note: players who have begun college are eligible to
try-out as long as they satisfy the age requirement above and played
for a New England team during their last year in High School)
* Are current UPA members with medical authorization and liability
waivers on file


The first tryout will happen Saturday June 16th at a location to be
determined shortly, but will either be in the Amherst or Boston area.

If you are interested in trying out, please send an email to
n.e.ultimate at gmail.com for an application.  All applications are due
by June 1st.  Players should make every effort to attend the first
tryout, but if you are unable to attend please still get in touch with
us and we'll try to make other arrangements.

We hope and intend to allow all players who would like to try out to
come to the first event, but may have to limit attendance if there is
an overwhelming response.
