[Neultimate] PLEASE submit your scores to the UPA!!!!

Hello, all, 

 

It seems like the "spring" season is off to a start, even though we have
snow falling here in Lakeville. 

 

This is a general plea to all teams to submit their scores to the UPA
score reporter site. 

 

When it comes time to seed tournaments (and there are a lot of them this
season, which is great!) this is very helpful to the TD's, and makes for
a better day for all teams. I *know* it can be painful to acknowledge a
close loss or a drubbing (entering the "0" after putting "15" for our
opponents always makes me wince), but this is important to do so that
when you are at a tournament, you will have some fair match ups. 

 

How do you submit scores? 

 

1. Appoint a team member or coach who is a UPA member to submit the
score (you have to log on to submit the score).

No UPA member on your team? Join here: http://www.upa.org/membership

 

2. Go to the Youth Team list and search for your team.

If you can't find your team, create one on the same page. Check
carefully, though, to make sure there isn't already a record, and please
enter your team's information (who to contact for scheduling, and what
your city and state is). 

 

3. From your team page, look under the team information, and click on
"Report Score." Again, check to make sure it hasn't already been
entered. 

 

Easy! 

 

This not only helps TD's, but also helps the UPA, and makes it easier
for us to get support from athletic departments ("Look at our rankings;
look at how many teams there are playing games in our state!").
